Community & Collaborations

Local work.
Shared purpose.

Intimate impact may begin with one room, but it is strengthened by relationships. Room Redux of Georgia and SELL Co. connect with nonprofits, businesses and community organizations that believe local resources can create meaningful change.

Beyond the bedroom:
Bald Ridge Lodge

Room Redux of Georgia’s work expanded beyond an individual bedroom when we partnered with Bald Ridge Lodge to transform its main shared living space.

Bald Ridge Lodge supports young men ages 12 to 21 who have faced abuse, neglect and trauma. Its group home provides a safe, therapeutic environment along with educational support, healthcare, counseling and life-skills development.

RRGA raised funds specifically for the project and then used those funds to reimagine and transform the primary living space shared by the young men who reside there and the staff members who support them.

A place to relax, connect and belong.

The goal was to create more than a television room. The transformed space gives residents and staff a comfortable place to gather, watch movies, play games, spend time together and experience some of the ordinary moments that make a shared space feel like home.

Transformation details

  • Theater-style seating
  • New televisions
  • A gaming workstation designed for eight residents
  • A popcorn maker
  • A completely refreshed shared living environment
  • A space created for both residents and staff

The photo story

Before and after, room by room.

One shared space.
A lot more room to be together.

This collaboration demonstrated that RRGA’s approach can reach beyond a bedroom while remaining true to the mission: create intentional spaces that offer comfort, dignity, connection and a sense of ownership.
