Stephanie Engelerdt and Lisa Lepkofker co-lead Room Redux of Georgia and share responsibility for every part of the mission, from the first referral and the first fundraising conversation to the final details of a transformed room.

Stephanie and Lisa do not lead from separate lanes. They both fundraise. They both build relationships. They both source, plan, problem-solve, make decisions and show up for the transformation.
Their strengths often reveal themselves in different ways. Stephanie naturally gravitates toward business strategy, fundraising, visibility and finding the next opportunity. Lisa brings a powerful design eye, a gift for seeing what a room can become and the ability to turn a child’s interests into a space that feels entirely their own.
Those strengths overlap far more than they divide. Every project is shared. Every challenge is solved together. Every room carries both of their fingerprints.

Stephanie brings an entrepreneurial mindset to the mission. She sees the strategy behind the story and understands that meaningful work must be visible, fundable and built to last.
Her strengths naturally surface through business development, fundraising, partnerships, community visibility and the constant search for smarter ways to grow the mission. She is willing to ask the bold question, make the introduction and challenge an old approach when a better one could create more impact.
Stephanie is also fully involved in the work behind every transformation. Strategy may be one of her strengths, but the mission is never managed from a distance.

Lisa brings an instinctive ability to see possibility in a space. She understands how color, texture, organization and thoughtful details can turn a bedroom into something that feels safe, personal and entirely new.
Her strengths naturally surface through design, sourcing, fundraising, event leadership and the countless creative decisions that bring a transformation to life. She sees both the full vision and the small detail that can make a child feel genuinely known.
Lisa is equally engaged in the relationships, planning and decisions that keep the organization moving forward. Design may be one of her strengths, but her leadership reaches far beyond the room itself.
05From RRGA to SELL Co.
One donation led to a bigger idea.
Leading Room Redux of Georgia taught Stephanie and Lisa that generosity does not always arrive in the form the mission expects.
When someone offered to donate a rug for a child’s bedroom, the answer could have simply been no. The rug was generous and valuable, but it was not right for that particular room or the six-year-old child who would receive it.
Instead of turning away the donation, Stephanie and Lisa began asking a different question:
What if a quality donated item could be resold and its value used to help fund the room?
That question became SELL Co., a separate nonprofit organization designed to turn donated goods into flexible funding. Room Redux of Georgia is currently its primary funding focus, and SELL Co. may support other meaningful local projects in the future.

Room Redux of Georgia is locally led, locally funded and powered by people who believe their time, talent, resources and relationships can change what is possible for a child.
Stephanie and Lisa live with the responsibility of that trust. They know the people who donate. They work beside the volunteers. They build the partnerships. They make the decisions. And when the room is finished, they understand exactly what it took to get there.
